24-style Taichi Routine
24 styles Taichi Quan routine was compiled in year 1956, by China National Sports Wushu Team experts and is also known as "Simplified Taichi Quan".

The movements in this 24 Taichi routine follow the principle of simple to complex and from easy to difficult movements in a progressive manner. It was being modified from the existing popular Yang Style Taichi routine, which started off with more difficult movements for beginners.

The 24 Taichi Quan routine also minimize too many repeated movements as in Yang Style Taichi. The routine retained on the more prominent and important movements in Yang Style Taichi and movement requirements progress from simple to more complex so as to enable practitioners easy to learn and grasp the technique.

Over 40 years of promoting the 24 Style Taichi Quan, it has become a form of fitness exercise regime and is getting more and more popular in all parts of the world.

In memory of late China's Chairman Mao for his calligraphy "Taichi Quan Good" 20th anniversary, there was a 24 Taichi 10,000 mass display held at Tian An Men, which drew Taichi enthusiastic from all over the world. This also shows that Taichi is very popular among the people.

The whole 24 Taichi Quan routine comprises of 8 sets of movements, which includes the commencing and the closing positions. In total, there are 24 styles. The movements are made easy to learn and are structured in a scientific approach.
