玄武拳又称两仪拳,道曰:“阴阳和合为太极,分开曰俩仪”此拳或快或慢,或刚或柔,阴阳各见所长,故曰“俩仪”。此拳用来练习手,眼,身,法,步,及混元 劲(暴发力,反弹力)的一种拳术,其风格是,快慢相兼,刚柔相成,有行如龙,坐如虎,闪如电,发如雷的武术特点,有后发先制的实战效果.是太极门中的必练 长拳。

Xuan Wu Quan has a total of 54 movements. It is also called Two Symbol Form, which comes from Yin & Yang because the movements consist of both hard & soft, quick & slow.

When practicing this form the practitioner moves as quickly as lightening & as loud as thunder. To maintain advantage, this form uses stillness to overcome the movement of the opponent.

This style of Kung Fu can be used to train hands, eyes, body, and Kung Fu basics while enhancing explosive strength (outburst power, and rebounding ability).
