Tai Chi Kungfu Fan 太极功夫扇

Tai Chi kungfu fan performance by Coach Yip See Kit & Coach Diana during Taman Jurong CC chinese dance cultural night. The performance won numerous applause from the audience and was very well received.

Many of the movements as seen in this Tai Chi Kungfu Fan routine were derived from different style of Wushu & Tai Chi, which ranges from "Chang Quan", Chen Style Tai Chi, Yang Style Tai Chi and "Ba Gua Zhang". The whole routine were divided into 6 segments which clearly nice cheorographed into a mixture of both slow & fast, explosive movements that protray the different aspects and characteristics of Wushu & Tai Chi. Together with the combination of the movements and music in synchronisation, it has make this Tai Chi Kungfu Fan to be of high aesthetic appreciative value.

In order to be able to display the different Wushu & Tai Chi characteristics, the individual has to be strong in his / her wushu basis foundation and together with the application of Sports Science & Biomechanic principles. Proper postural alignment is also an important factor in the practicing of this Tai Chi Kungfu Fan and a positive transfer of the scientific principles into the daily practices will also lead to the success of achieving a lifelong fitness.
